絵のお話を…

こちらは、お店のシンボルであるレベッカちゃんの夢の中を描きました。

普通の5歳のうさぎなのですが、自分では一緒にお店をやって、おでかけしたりしてると思っているのです。

なので、これはレベッカちゃんの頭の中が夢の世界。

動物と暮らしてると、人間、犬、うさぎ…とか生物の垣根がなくて同じだと思ってるなぁと感じることが多々あります。

『飼われてる』なんて感覚は勿論なくて、おんなじなんです。だから私も「飼う」という言葉を避けています。

飼うのではなう、暮らしているのです。ペットではなく、家族。差別のない世界。動物には尊敬することばかりです。

The story behind the painting...

This is a painting of Rebekka, the symbol of the shop's rabbit, in her dreams. She is a normal five-year-old rabbit.
However, she thinks of herself as running the shop with her family and going out with them. 

So this is Rebekka is human, in her dream world.

When I live with animals, I often feel that there are no barriers between humans, dogs, rabbits... and other living creatures. To me, they are all the same. Of course, They don't feel like I'm being 'kept', They feel like we're all the same. 
I don't use "pet" or "have", I always say "live together", That's why. A world without discrimination. I have a lot of respect for animals.
